RailTones is a series of jingles composed for the MRT Blue Line stations in Thailand. As the country grows into a notable tourist destination, many focus has been placed towards improving the public systems. Inspired by Japan's Departure Melodies, I saw the need for Thailand to develop their own version of jingles. By grouping each stations into 1 of 3 categories and developing frameworks for the corresponding sounds and visuals, RailTones aims to generate a sense of identity for every station, providing a universal language of notification, as well as being its own melodic attraction.
